Week 1

First week of web class we drew pictures and words that we felt described ourselves and learnt about other students. In the first exercise we had a piece of paper that had four squares and we had to put a colour in one box, a shape in another square, an object the 3rd box and a word in the last box. i drew the colour blue with my metallic pens because blue is my favourite colour. The shape i drew was a circle for me it represents love, there is no beginning and no end. For the shape i drew a soccer ball because i enjoy playing soccer and the word i chose to write was "Malae". This word in timorese means "white tourist" or "white people" and it was my nick name when i went to Timor and Bali.

For homework we had to find 3 good and 3 bad websites.

My 3 good sites i found were, Ebay, NT News and White Pages.

For me a good site is something i can navigate easily around and the information is all relevant.

The 3 bad sites were destructoid, Evil Tattoo and Charles Darwin University. What i consider a bad website is one that involves going in circles through the navigation and the pages are cluttered long.
